President Trump is firing back after a Washington Post report claimed that he asked why the U.S. was taking immigrants from “s---hole” countries during a meeting with lawmakers on their attempts to pass a bipartisan immigration bill. He then went on to slam the proposed deal that legislators are working on.In a series of tweets on Friday (January 12) the President ripped the proposal calling it "a big step backwards" that lacked funding for the wall and made the visa lottery and chain immigration worse.
