On September 8, 2014, the Lowcountry was rocked by the news that Charleston County Deputy Sheriff Joe Matuskovic was killed in the line of duty. Since then the Fraternal Order of Police has partnered with the South Carolina Stingrays to host the Annual Deputy Joe Matuskovic Memorial Hockey Game.
Proceeds from the event go to the Tri—County FOP Distressed Officer Fund which helps families of fallen officers and the Palmetto Military Support Group.
On Saturday, January 27, 2018, at 2:00 pm, the Charleston Enforcers will host the Charleston Patriots at the North Charleston Coliseum in the 4th Annual Deputy Joe Matuskovic Memorial Hockey Game.
The Charleston Enforcers are a team composed of law enforcement, firefighters, and EMS. The Charleston Patriots are a team composed of military members and veterans.
At 7:05 pm, the South Carolina Stingrays will take on the Orlando Solar Bears.This is also “pack the house night” and “military appreciation night” with 94.3 WSC and the S.C. Stingrays!
Tickets are only $15 for admission to both games. Tickets can be purchased online at www.stingrayshockey.com/law or show up day of and make a DONATION!!!
