Thirteen Trucks Park Under Overpass To Save Suicidal Man: Michigan State Police got creative when trying to save the life of a suicidal man.
Police encountered a man on an overpass on I-696 early Tuesday morning who was threatening to jump. Unable to talk him down, the police called on some truck drivers for help.According to the Detroit Free Press, police had thirteen trucks park underneath the overpass preventing the man from jumping to his death. With the trucks lined up underneath the bridge, police were able to convince the man to step down from the overpass. He was taken to a local hospital for evaluation. One of the truck drivers, Chris Harrison, posted a photo of the trucks on the Twisted Truckers Facebook group.
