Five people are dead after a Puerto Rico Air National Guard plane crashed near a highway in Savannah, Georgia outside of the Savannah/Hilton Head airport. The FAA said WC-130 was on a training missing and was bound for Davis-Monthan Air Force Base in Tucson, Arizona.
Mark Jones told the Savannah Morning News that he was near the intersection when the plane "stalled and just went almost flat" before exploding upon impact in the middle of the highway.
Security footage, obtained by First Coast News, shows the aircraft fall from the sky near Savannah just after noon on May 2, 2018.
