Extreme wait times, inaccurate ballots, incomplete votes cast are a few of the concerns 94.3 WSC listeners shared with host Kelly Golden on Wednesday's show. Concerned callers shared stories of voting problems that stretched from St. George in Dorchester County to Summerville High School and parts of Berkeley County as well as Mount Pleasant in Charleston County.
Kimberely W. reports to 94.3 WSC: "Last night when I went to vote at Royal missionary Baptist Church I hit submit and it flashed my vote was not cast I called the lady over and she said 'oh this machine has been doing that but your vote was cast I promise'"
94.3 WSC's talk host Kelly Golden spoke live Wednesday to Charleston County's Head of Voter Elections for some answers. Take a listen!
We continue to field messages and calls from concerned voters who experienced unexplained issues while casting their ballots Tuesday.
Lisa T. sent us this message: 'That same fault that your lady caller was describing this morning on your show happened to me while casting my vote. It indicated that something was missing and gave option to go back. I was confident that I made all my checks, and didn't use the option to go back, like the lady did. Makes me sick to think my Katie vote didn't get counted.'
