Just days before the midterm elections a group of Moms from around the country joined together for a Moms Caravan to the border in Texas to listen and share the stories of the mothers who live there.
Moms For America President Kimberly Fletcher and Aisha Love, the founder of Black Women Walk, quickly organized the trip to help others understand why they believe a wall along the U.S.-Mexico wall is needed to protect American families.
Moms Caravan traveled to the Texas-Mexico border for a first-hand look at the border and to witness the first hand effects of illegal immigration on families who live there. Their caravan was made up of Thirty-five moms from 14 different states. They recently walked the Texas-Mexico border and visited with local moms, educators, and authorities about the dangers that those living in the Rio Grande Valley face every day.

Boarder moms explained to the 'Moms Caravan' that their children are often on lock down at school because of gunfire just across the border. Illegal immigrants are even sometimes found sleeping on top of the elementary school and border agents must be called to remove them.
