In my house, Hubby Greg Pitt and I get over our case of the 'Mondays' each week by reflecting on all the fantastic things we were able to enjoy over the weekend!
This weekend didn't disappoint with gorgeous weather in the 60's with two full days of sun and fun to be had.
We kicked off Saturday, Jan. 5th with a 'first-ever' visit to the lowcountry's only year-round farmers market on Johns Island and bought some handmade Elderberry syrup that people are claiming to be the holistic way to ward off the nasty flu going around. The hubs also grabbed some cheddar and jalapeno sausage that made the house smell amazing on Sunday morning.
We also experienced another 'first' at Low Tide Brewery down the road with an OG Burger from Chicken Fats food truck for lunch. We then rounded out the night cutting & installing custom barn wood floating bedside tables in our bedroom, while watching my Duke Blue Devils kick the Clemson Tigers furry rumps 87-68 in basketball. Weird to turn around and pull for them tonight against Alabama for the National Championships in Football!
