After a flurry of anti-President Trump sentiments from Democrats led by 'Crazy Eyes' Cortez aka AOC and crew, a new candidate has emerged to oust the Socialist Democrat Congresswoman. Meet Scherie Murray, a New York businesswoman who immigrated from Jamaica as a child and is active in state Republican politics.
Murray joins other black conservatives in supporting the President this week, contending he isn't racist.
Scherie Murray is also among a crowded field of NY Republicans ready to oust AOC from Congress, by running against her, including former police officer John Cummings, medical journalistRuth Papazian, construction contractor Miguel Hernandez and entrepreneur Antoine Tucker.
No Democrats have yet announced a primary challenge to Ocasio-Cortez, though there's been speculation that establishment Democrats could rally behind a primary challenger. Ocasio-Cortez shocked the political world in 2018 by defeating longtime Rep. Joe Crowley in a Democratic primary.
