Trump rally fever - no virus to blame!

Donald Trump Holds Campaign Rally In South Carolina

For weeks now, the Trump administration is coming under increased criticism from Democrats for not doing enough to prepare America for the Coronavirus.

He was attempting to put those fears to rest during the February 28th rally here in Charleston and continues to do so now from D.C., with calls for payroll tax relief to calm markets seemingly spooked by the near non-stop media coverage of Coronavirus.

'The plunge had everything to do with on-going oil fights between Russia and Saudi Arabia' 94.3 WSC's Bill Zimpher said during the Kelly Golden Show Tuesday.

I grew up here in our 'First in the South' state watching the 'road to the White House' paved through SC coverage pretty much my entire life. So, you could say 'I get it honest' when it comes to my passion for politics. Fast forward 23 years into a broadcast career that's weathered five Presidential campaigns and I can honestly say, Trump's #KAG2020 rally inside the North Charleston Coliseum on February 28, 2020 was unlike anything I'd ever seen!

'The days long camping in the cold. The diversity, the love, the excitement! The sheer numbers of people clamoring for a chance to see a sitting President, live and in person, that packed our 12-thousand plus Coliseum from the floor to the rafters was unlike any campaign I've ever covered, including that of our first black president.' - Kelly G., 94.3 WSC

I don't expect any cold, flu or coronavirus to stop Trump's followers from physically showing up to support our 45th President running for re-election in November.
