OneNation Coffee, a small business founded by veterans and law enforcement officers in Charleston, announces it is donating 2,000 pounds of coffee to the front lines of the war against COVID-19 in New York and across South Carolina
Giving back is the core philosophy of OneNation Coffee, whose tagline is “we have your six – a.m.” Its goal of “having the back” of members of the United States military, law enforcement, and first responders is evidenced by OneNation providing $1 from every bag sold to WLS Foundation, a non-profit helping veterans heal from trauma.
“We want medical personnel and first responders on the frontlines of this fight to know the American people recognize their efforts, appreciate their sacrifice, and have their backs,” says OneNation co-founder Philip Moniz, who is also an active duty law enforcement officer, SWAT breaching element leader, and hazardous device/bomb technician.
OneNation hopes providing free high-quality coffee is helpful to those who may need it most.
“Many of us are at home waiting out this national emergency, but our emergency services personnel and healthcare workers are putting themselves at risk daily to save others,” states OneNation Coffee co-founder John Richards, who is also an active duty Senior Chief Petty Officer in the U.S. Navy and an Explosives Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Technician. “OneNation Coffee wants to do what we can to show our appreciation.”
