Despite being voted 'friendliest city on the planet' a gazillion years in a row (please stop Conde Nast) it looked like anything but a 'warm welcome' for the Biden's as you rode along Main, River Roads from John's Island to Kiawah, where the first family is vacationing this week.
'Trump was Right' was spray painted in red on a piece of plywood leaned against a beautiful oak tree. Another wooden sign, with black lettering, hung on a fence read 'Lets Go Brandon'. And, the 'FU Joe' seemed closest to the road so as NOT to be missed!
American and Gadsden flags also waved in the wind, along the route - that included protestors waving their own handmade signs. Take a look:
And, the Biden's were photographed joined on Air Force One by son, Hunter Biden, daughter-in-law Melissa Cohen and grandson Beau.
Biden was dropped off at a private home in a gated community alongside a golf course on the island.
The White House did not provide details on Biden’s vacation schedule or when he planned to return to D.C. The president is apparently staying at a friend’s island home, one the family's used for previous visits, according to this report.
